Project Overview
The Christopher Center includes an academic resource center, lecture hall, and three types of classrooms for children from infancy through primary grades. The building has a masonry exterior and structural steel frame that incorporates more than 300 moment connections, eliminating the need for diagonal bracing or shear walls. A slurry wall system was used in construction of the basement to keep ground water out of the excavation. The university has become a valued repeat client; it has also chosen RB to complete an athletic complex and parking garage.
